Leave it to Nintendo to release a completely out of left video to promote a video game, which is exactly what they have done in the past and did just today; by releasing an ASMR(Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) to promote
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
This isn't the first time that Nintendo has released ASMR videos, although the first time they did it it actually made a little bit more sense — considering that they were promoting
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; a game that takes full advantage of nature sounds to create a more immersive experience.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came out in December of last year, but the game is constantly getting new content and fans just can't get enough of it. If there is one game that Nintendo doesn't need to promote any more, is that one, but fans will likely appreciate that they are getting creative with their new ASMR videos; which, by the way, are oddly relaxing.
