During this year's E3, Nintendo surprised fans by revealing that they were currently working on a proper sequel to the critically acclaimed
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild; releasing a trailer that left everyone wondering about the game's plot.
While Nintendo didn't reveal any details about the game itself, the trailer gave us a pretty good idea of what to expect from it, and it seems that Link will be getting a brand-new ability that comes from the same source that was holding Ganon captive.
In fact, during
Breath of the Wild's development stage, the developers toyed around with the idea of having the game feature a one-arm Link that would have had a mechanical arm that allowed him to do all kinds of things, and it seems that it is an idea that the developers have implemented in its sequel; except for the mechanical arm, that is.
Recently, Nintendo has shared a behind-the-scenes image that gives us a look at concept art for that moment in the trailer for the sequel to
Breath of the Wild, in which Link receives that mysterious new power, as well as a shot of the actor that did the motion capture for Link.
While these images may not give away more information about the game, it is still very exciting to know that Nintendo are already working hard to deliver a game that hopefully will surpass
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild — which, as fans have already confirmed, set the bar pretty high.
