As we get closer, and closer to the Holidays, Nintendo is making sure that everyone gets into that Christmas Spirit and what better way than to give everyone's favourite plumber some new outfits for the occasion?

Super Mario Odyssey has been getting quite a bunch of new hats and outfits for Mario to wear, being the latest the spooky Halloween outfit that consisted of the Zombie Headwear and the Zombie Outfit that made Mario look like a, well, zombie.

As of today, a new Christmas-themed costume has been added to Super Mario Odyssey, as well as a new 8-Bit Mario Cap. The Christmas-themed costume consists of a Santa Hat and a Santa Outfit that make Mario look like Santa Claus.

The 8-Bit Mario Cap makes Mario's appearance look exactly like the 30th Super Mario Bros. Anniversary Modern Colour Mario amiibo, which is a 3D version of the classic 8-Bit design from the original Super Mario Bros. game released for the NES in 1985.

Use amazing new abilities—like the power to capture and control objects, animals, and enemies—to collect Power Moons so you can power up the Odyssey airship and save Princess Peach from Bowser's wedding plans!

Super Mario Odyssey is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
