If we take as reference the volume of pre-purchases that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has achieved in the Amazon store in its US headquarters, the game for Nintendo Switch has already become the best-selling title of 2018.
According to the annual list of the most sold in the store, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the best-selling game of this year, at least so far, although its release will occur in December.
Of course, this is one of the most anticipated titles of the year and a game that Nintendo Switch users will receive with open arms if we consider this volume of pre-purchases and the historical results of the saga.
The saga has always been a hit with fans, Super Smash Bros. Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Brawl have sold amazingly as well. This also proves how the digital era took over, physical copies are a rarity nowadays, the majority of these pre-purchases will be digital codes.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be out on December 7 for the Nintendo Switch.
