Pikmin 3 is one of the games that released for the Nintendo Wii U, and that the Kyoto-based company has decided to port to the wildly more successful Nintendo Switch; breathing new life into a series that many consider has been neglected by the developers.
This is no ordinary port of the original game, however, as Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be bringing with it all of the downloadable content that was released for the Wii U title, while also adding some additional content in order to keep things interesting for players.
In case you haven't been keeping track, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is actually becoming available tomorrow in both physical and digital form, and players who didn't own a Wii U will finally be able to get their hands on this charming real-time strategy title. Nintendo still hasn't confirmed whether the game will also get a bump in resolution, but it is very likely that this will be the case.
Since the game's release is just around the corner, Nintendo has shared a new gameplay video for Pikmin 3 Deluxe, which will teach players how to use each of these adorable Pikmin creatures effectively so that they aren't caught with their guard down once they begin exploring the game's world.
Take a look:
Grow a squad of adorable, plantlike Pikmin to traverse a strange world and save your planet Command a capable crop of 5 different types of Pikmin™ to strategically overcome obstacles, defeat creatures, and find food for your famished home planet! You can even bring a second player along to divvy up tasks as you explore a world that seems larger than life from a pint-sized perspective.
Pikmin 3 Deluxe will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on Friday the 30th of October.
