Pikmin 3 Deluxe was announced earlier this month, to the surprise of many fans of the long-neglected strategy series, and has been revealed to launch for the Nintendo Switch on Friday the 30th of October; it may not be the Pikmin game that players wanted, but the news was still favourably received.
Like the name appropriately implies, the game is a deluxe edition of the original Pikmin 3 that released for the Nintendo Wii U, which means that Pikmin 3 Deluxe will be including the base game plus all of the downloadable content that was added post-launch.
In terms of gameplay, Pikmin 3 Deluxe will give players the exact same experience that Pikmin games have always delivered — well, except that one time that fans rightfully refuse to talk about — so players who have already had the chance to try the original game for the Nintendo Wii U know very well what to expect from the upcoming title.
While fans of the Pikmin series know what to expect from Pikmin 3 Deulxe, it never hurts to see more of the game, and Nintendo Japan has just the thing for those of you who can't wait to finally play it — as they have recently released a gameplay trailer that gives us a look at the game running on the Nintendo Switch. Shout outs to the people over at Video Games Chronicle for pointing us in the right direction.
Considering that this new gameplay trailer for Pikmin 3 Deluxe was released by Nintendo Japan, the video itself is also entirely in Japanese. Hopefully Nintendo will soon release more details about the game for players here in the West; in the meantime, be sure to check out the new trailer down below.
