Super Mario Maker 2 was released just a few weeks ago, on the 28th of June, and immediately became one of the most talked-about titles on the Nintendo Switch — much like its predecessor did when it was released back in 2015 during the 30th anniversary of the
Super Mario Bros. series.
This sequel to the critically acclaimed
Super Mario Maker is bringing back pretty much all of the elements present in its predecessor, including the leve-sharing feature that allowed users to play levels designed by people all over the world — which is, considered by many, one of the game's selling points.
Nintendo has recently revealed that users have already managed, in this week and a half since the game's launch, to upload over a staggering 2 million courses in
Super Mario Maker 2. This is quite an impressive number of levels, considering that in order to upload their creations, users need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
