Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair — Playtonic's direct sequel to their 3D platformer
Yooka-Laylee — was released to day for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC; unlike its predecessor, however, the game is now embracing the 2D platformer genre.
In order to celebrate the occasion, the developers at Playtonic have decided to create a special course in
Super Mario Maker 2, which is obviously inspired by the recently released Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair; where players will need to change states to progress.
For those players who own
Super Mario Maker 2 and want to try out the level that Playtonic designed, the course's name is
The Impossible Layer, and players can look for it by entering this code
XHK-NB8-11H by going into the main menu and clicking on ID where the magnifying glass iconic is.
A bunch of developers have shared their courses, and it is nice to see Playtonic celebrating the release of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Layer by giving players a themed level to play; it really goes to show how much fun people can have with
Super Mario Maker 2.
