Nintendo revealed, earlier this month, that they would finally be adding Super Nintendo titles to the Nintendo Switch Online service; adding a grand total of 20 classic games for subscribers to play at their leisure.

While it may have taken Nintendo a whole year to release Super Nintendo titles on the Nintendo Switch Online service, fans embraced the news almost immediately — especially because the games that they added, or at least the majority, are true heavy hitters.

Nintendo also revealed that they would also be offering wireless Super Nintendo controllers to play the games from the recently released SNES app; much like they did with the Nintendo Entertainment System app last year.

Today, the company has announced that Super Nintendo controllers for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System app are available for purchase, in North America, for subscribers at the Nintendo Switch Online service's official website for $29.99. It is also worth reminding that these are limited to four controllers per Nintendo account.

With a Nintendo Switch Online* membership, you’ll get access to online play in compatible games, a growing catalog of classic NES™ titles with newly added online play, and cloud backup for your save data in compatible games.

Nintendo Switch Online is currently available.
