With today's Nintendo Direct Mini presentation came a lot of pleasant surprises; from new video game announcements to some surprise releases that took everybody, well, by surprise. Perhaps the biggest surprise was that Nintendo even streamed a presentation without even announcing it.
Among the many announcements made during the presentation, Nintendo took the opportunity to reveal that the next fighter to join the roster in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a character from ARMS — which is one of their brand-new intellectual properties.
ARMS was released in June of 2017, although many consider it to be one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Switch/ The game is basically a fighting title with an interesting concept, and one of the characters joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate makes a whole lot of sense.
Of course, Nintendo didn't reveal who this new fighter will be, but chances are that it will be more than one in the same way that "The Hero" from Dragon Quest is more than just the one character: echo fighters.
What nintendo did reveal is that this mysterious character from ARMS will be both revealed and released in June of this year, so we'll just have to patiently wait until they finally make the official announcement.
