SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE: Yes, Yet Another FIRE EMBLEM Character Has Been Revealed

Masahiro Sakurai just hosted a lengthy presentation in which he introduced players to Byleth — from the Fire Emblem series — as the sword-fighting character will soon be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. series creator, Masahiro Sakurai, just hosted a lengthy presentation in which he gave away details about the mysterious new character that will soon be joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, as well as some very interesting details about even more content being added to the game.

First things first — and some fans are already crying about this — Byleth, who is yet another character from the Fire Emblem series, has been revealed to be the new fighter that will be joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster on the 28th of January

That isn't all, however, since Sakurai also revealed that six Mii Fighter costumes will also be added, and there are quite a few surprises there for fans — as Altair from the Assassin's Creed series, Mega Man X, Rabbids, Mega Man.Exe, and Cuphead costumes are being added to the game.

Perhaps the most surprising of all of theis probably the Cuphead costume, which will even include a song from the critically praised, and stylish platformer. Each of these Mii Fighter Costumes can be purchased individually for $0.75, and will also become available on the 28th of January alongside Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Byleth.

Masahiro Sakurai didn't stop there, as he also revealed that a grand total of 6 new Challenger Packs will be releasing in the future, as he's just wrapped up the 5th Challenger Pack with the introduction of Byleth. Sakurai also reveals that all six fighters have also been chosen, so he asks fans not to beg for more characters.

Much like the announcement of the first 5 Challenger packs, the 6 new fighters that will be joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster have yet to be revealed, but Sakurai does mention that all 6 new fighters will have been released by the 31st of December of 2021, so fans shouldn't expect to have news about these characters any time soon.

Below you'll find the reveal trailer for Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Byleth, the trailer for the Mii Fighter Costume Pack #5, as wel las the 38-minute-long presentation where Sakurai reveals some interesting details about the Fire Emblem series, while also shows off some gameplay of the recently revealed fighter.
