The Price Of The Nintendo Switch May Have Accidentally Been Revealed
A now removed listing on the Canadian website for Toys R Us has seemingly revealed the price of the upcoming Nintendo Switch, and it points to it being a legitimate rival for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
IGN has spotted a listing on the Canadian arm of Toys R Us which may have revealed the price of the Nintendo Switch. Apparently, it will retail for $329.99 CAD, and that means we should expect it to be roughly $250 USD and £200 UK. Since this was pointed out by the site, the retailer has taken the listing down, but this a competitive price which puts it around the same level as the PS4 and Xbox One.
The Nintendo Wii found great success when it sold for $249.99 USD and so it makes sense that the company is going for the same price point for the Switch. Previous reports have pointed to two models being sold with a basic one going on sale for £199.99 and a more advanced package with greater internal storage and a pack in game for £249.99. Once again, that's a pretty good deal for gamers.
More details about the Nintendo Switch look set to be revealed in January. Are you guys planning on buying one when they eventually go on sale? As always, let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
