A sequel to the highly-acclaimed, classic-inspired RPG PC game
Pillars of Eternity has been officially announced by its developer, Obsidian. For the sequel, the video game studio is seeking $1.1 million USD (which is what they asked for and received for the first game) in funding. For the second installment, they've moved their crowdfunding campaign from KickStarter to Fig, a platform most recently used to fund Psychonauts 2 and Rock Band 4. Unlike Kickstarter,
Fig allows investors to share in the profits so there's a chance that donors could have their initial contribution returned twofold.
Obsidian has confirmed that choices from the first game will have ramifications on the sequel so hopefully you didn't delete any save files. Check out the crowdfunding
