While we're all eagerly waiting for Sony to announce the next batch of PlayStation Plus titles, a new leak from billbil-kun has confirmed one of the game's included in next month's lineup. According to the reliable PS Plus leaker, PGA Tour 2K25 will be one of the games available to download for March 2026.
PGA Tour 2K25 is said to be included for all PS Plus subscribers (Essential, Extra, and Premium). It will be available to download from March 3 to April 7. Sony has not yet confirmed the March PS Plus lineup, but is expect to do so soon with just a few days left to go in the month.
PGA Tour 2K25 will arrive on PS Plus about a year after its release. The golf sim from HB Studios and 2K released on February 28, 2025. The game introduced the EvoSwing mechanic, a new swing system aiming for more realistic club control, shot types, ball flight, and roll physics. It also featured a new Perfect Swing difficulty setting, making the game more accessible to newcomers while retaining the challenge for veterans.
At launch, PGA Tour 2K25 features 29 licensed courses, including big names like TPC Sawgrass (home of THE PLAYERS). It also included the PGA Championship, U.S. Open, and The Open Championship making their series debut. Additional legendary courses such as The Old Course at St Andrews were added in later seasonal updates and will presumably be available when you download the game through PlayStation Plus.
PGA Tour 2K25 was met with generally favorable reviews on PlayStation 5 where it sits at a 80/100 on Metacritic. A brief snippet from IGN's review reads:
With substantial changes to how it looks and plays, PGA Tour 2K25 feels like a different game from its predecessor. The new swing mechanics, paired with the significantly improved graphics, makes for a much more realistic ambiance, even with a lethargic performance by the announcing team.
Now the good news for those of you who aren't golf fans is that PlayStation Plus typically includes multiple titles. PGA Tour 2K25 is only one of the presumably three games that will be offered. Dealabs has not reported on the two (or maybe three) other games, so hopefully a few surprises still await.
In the meantime, this is the perfect time to remind you that February's PS Plus offerings are still available. This month's lineup featured four titles: Undisputed (PS5), Subnautica: Below Zero (PS5, PS4), Ultros (PS5, PS4), and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4). All four of these games are currently available to download for all PlayStation Plus members until Monday, March 2, 2026, a day before next month's games are unleashed.
