If you're planning on playing The Last of Us Part II, you may want to clear some space on your PlayStation 4's hard drive. According to the listing on the official PlayStation website, Naughty Dog's highly anticipated sequel will require at least 100GB of free space if you purchase the game digitally.

File sizes have grown tremendously during the current generation, but The Last of Us Part II would be the biggest PlayStation exclusive yet, surpassing the sizes of God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Marvel's Spider-Man. The website also reveals that the physical version of the game will come as two discs. It's believed that the first disc will be for installing the game while the second will be for playing, similar to how it works with Final Fatnasy VII Remake and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Last of Us Part II is easily the most anticipated PlayStation exclusive of the year, barring any surprises that could come with the PlayStation 5 later this year. Unfortunately, Naughty Dog recently fell victim to a series of leaks that spoiled many key moments of the game.

The Last of Us Part II has a release date of June 19 after being delayed numerous times. It was originally slated for a May launch, but the coronavirus pandemic forced a delay. The good news is that it gave Naughty Dog extra time to polish it even more and squash any bugs discovered last minute.

Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming. Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors. When a violent event disrupts that peace, Ellie embarks on a relentless journey to carry out justice and find closure. As she hunts those responsible one by one, she is confronted with the devastating physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

The Last of Us Part II will be available on June 19 exclusively for PlayStation 4. Sony hasn't yet announced if it will launch on the PS5 as well.
