There's no denying that Devil May Cry V is a polished and highly successfully title, but it will get even better next month with the Bloody Palace game mode finally arriving in-game on Monday, April 1st.

According to Capcom, Bloody Palace is a survival mode that "pits you against hordes of increasingly difficult enemies and bosses whilst racing against the ticking timer. Play as Dante, Nero or V in Bloody Palace Mode through multiple levels of enemies and truly test your SSStylish skills."

Considering that Capcom has not revealed yet any bigger plans for the acclaimed slasher's post-launch support, the inclusion of the Bloody Palace mode is definitely a welcome addition. The fact that the game's three main protagonists use completely different weapons and special abilities indicates that your attempts at reaching the end of the titular Palace will be quite different each time you play it.

A quick look at Resident Evil 2's free and paid expansions suggests that DMCV would receive similar treatment, even if Capcom is trying hard to pretend that Bloody Palace will be the game's only DLC.

A new demonic invasion has begun with the seeds of a demon tree being sown in Red Grave City. Now fully equipped with his trusty Red Queen and Blue Rose, and a new arsenal of rad robot hands thanks to his partner Nico, Nero must rise up to this new impossible task. With such insane amount of energy and destruction emanating from this surprise invasion, the stage is now set for the latest chapter of the “Sons of Sparda” saga.

Devil May Cry V is available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC NOW!
