We already know Pablo Schreiber will tackle the role of Master Chief in Showtime's highly anticipated Halo series, but now the drama has recruited six new stars to round out the show's cast.

According to the network's announcement (via Variety), Schreiber and actress Yerin Ha will be joined by Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac, and Kate Kennedy.

Although audiences will have to wait a while before they see these stars in action, we do know the identities of their various characters, and two of them will be very familiar to fans of the incredibly popular franchise.

Unlike the other recruits, Californication star Natascha McElhone will be pulling double duty by playing the trusty A.I. Cortana and Dr. Catherine Halsey, who is known for creating Cortana and the Spartan supersoldiers.

However, Cortana isn't the only familiar face revealed to be in the series, as Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo, Spider-Man: Homecoming) is has been cast as Soren-066, an old friend of Master Chief's. Meanwhile, Shabana Azmi will tackle the role of Admiral Margaret Parangosky, the head of the Office of Naval Intelligence.

While these three have all been casting as key characters from the video game series, actors Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac and Kate Kennedy will play Spartan Vannak-134, Spartan Riz-028 and Spartan Kai-125 respectively.

Showtime's live-action Halo show comes from showrunners Kyle Killen and Steve Kane and is expected to premiere sometime in 2021.
