Starfield will be the first brand new IP from Bethesda Game Studios in twenty-five years. The developer is best known for creating The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, and the like.

Starfield was first unveiled during Bethesda’s E3 games showcase back in 2018, at the time, just a logo. The studio has slowly been petering out glimpses of the game since then. One of the latest was an in-game teaser which was shared during E3 2021 and revealed that the game is set to launch on November 11th, 2022 for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Recently, the official Starfield Twitter account shared an image that’s likely concept art. It shows a new environment unlike anything we’ve seen from the game thus far. It’s a cavern location filled with stalactite and crystalline structures.

The accompanying caption reads “What wonders will you uncover in distant caves?” which hints at the mysterious and, no-doubt, valuable resources players will be able to discover in amongst stunning depths.
