Today, Microsoft releases "A Pixel is Worth 1,000 Words," the sixth installment in a series of video documentaries that showcase the development of Gears of War 2.

Video games as art: this vidoc focuses on the beauty and visual design of the Gears universe, from the smallest detail to the grandest vista. In "A Pixel is Worth 1,000 Words," the Gears of War 2 development team talks about creating the stunning graphics in the game, their inspirations behind the design choices and the role that technology plays in crafting the world of Sera.
