Dave Bautista Gets His Wish, As He Becomes A Playable Character In GEARS 5

Dave Bautista has finally gotten his wish, as the actor officially announced that he will be a playable character in The Coalition's upcoming Gears 5.

Those of you who have been following Dave Bautista's journey to be part of the Gears of War series, know how much he's wanted to get the role of Marcus Fenix in a live-action Gears of War movie; something that has gained a lot of traction, as fans also want him to be part of the series.

Just a few months ago, Bautista revealed that he has literally tried everything to make it happen to no avail, although he's always been thankful to have fans of the Gears of Wars series vocally supporting him.

For those who have been eagerly waiting for Bautista to join Gears of Wars, in any form, we have some great news, as the actor himself has confirmed that he will finally be joining the series as a playable character in The Coalition's Gears 5; the latest entry in the Gears of Wars series.

As posted by Bautista on his official Twitter account, his character will become available on the 15th of September, right after the WWE Clash of Champions — which is also just a few days after Gears 5 becomes available on the 9th of September; most definitely great news for both Dave Bautista and fans of the series.

From one of gaming’s most acclaimed sagas, Gears is bigger than ever, with five thrilling modes and the deepest campaign yet. With all-out war descending, Kait Diaz breaks away to uncover her connection to the enemy and discovers the true danger to Sera – herself.

Gears 5 will be available for the Xbox One and Steam on the 9th of September.
