Microsoft shocked fans at E3 2016 when they revealed that Marcus Fenix would be returning to join his son JD Fenix in the latest chapter of the Gears of War franchise. Now, Microsoft has just released an all-new six minutes of campaign gameplay footage from Gears of War 4, showcasing the father and son working together to defeat a mysterious new enemy known as the Swarm.

Gears of War 4 hits stores October 11th, 2016.

A new saga begins for one of the most acclaimed video game franchises in history. After narrowly escaping an attack on their village, JD Fenix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.
