SEGA describes the game's story below:
Off the shore of Honolulu City lies Dondoko Island, a deserted island full of illegally dumped trash that has the potential to be so much more. With the help from new friends, his trusty baseball bat and other tools, Ichiban can transform the island by cleaning up garbage and recycling those materials into DIY furniture, buildings and more. You can also flex your managerial muscle and open the island’s gates to patrons. The blue Hawaiian sky’s the limit to creating the resort of your dreams on Dondoko Island!
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth takes the franchise to its first overseas location in Hawaii (and not only the garbage to treasure-filled heap!) with all the exciting tourist activities. It has more features than palm trees.
Prior to January 26, when Infinite Wealth is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, an early sneak peek of Kiryu's activities will be on display for players starting November 9 as part of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
