Last week fans were convinced that Nintendo would be announcing who the new fighter to be introduced in the critically acclaimed crossover fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Information suggested that the announcement could be made before the 4th of October.
As it turns out, the rumours were true, and Nintendo has announced that the next fighter to joing the games' ridiculously ambitious roster is none other than Steve from Mojang Studios' best-selling Minecraft series — who was revealed by Super Smash Bros. series creator Masahiro Sakurai earlier today.
Steve won't be the only character to join the fight, since Mojang Studios and Nintendo are also bringing Alex, Zombie, and Enderman as Echo Fighters, as well as the mandatory Minecraft-themed arena for players to fight on.
Unfortunately, Steve, Alex, Zombie, and Enderman were not given a release date, but Masahiro Sakurai will be hosting a special presentation this Saturday the 3rd of October. at 7:30 AM PDT / 10:30 AM EDT, where he will be revealing all of the information that players want to know about this suprising announcemnet.
