Independent developer Pixel Arc Studios has recently announced Bushiden, which is a brand-new action-adventure game with Metroidvania elements that has been revealed to launch in 2021, although the release date has yet to be determined, for home consoles and PC — which players can already wishlist on Steam.
Pixel Arc Studios actually announced the game's Kickstarter Campaign in October of last year, and they even had a neat-looking trailer that showed off the graphics, and gave players a pretty fair idea of what to expect from Bushiden in terms of gameplay.
The developers have yet to reveal for what other platforms the game will be releasing, but considering that the game has been slated for a 2021 release, it is fair to assume that next-gen consoles will be included as well; it wasn't even mentioned on the Kickstarter website.
Bushiden will feature 7 levels and a prologue area for players to explore at their leisure, the developers at Pixel Arc Studios have revealed. These levels will also present some challenging boss fights; each of which will grant players new abilities that will open up the game's world even more.
On top of this, Bushiden is featuring top quality pixel art that has been beautifully drawn and animated, which give the upcoming title a presentation similar to that seen in games that came out during 16-bit era, which is already a plus for players who can't get enough of retro-looking games.
