With the January announcement of Kuroko's Basketball Street Rivals, a game that will be coming to mobile devices from FIVECROSS sometime this year, Tadatoshi Fujimaki's Kuroko's Basketball series is making its way to the digital court. Tetsuya Kuroko, Taiga Kagami, and other characters can be trained in the game, and players can compete in tough 3D basketball battles! The game is expected to help fans more fully submerse themselves into the world of basketball that surrounds the anime series' storyline.

About the franchise's story:

An up-and-coming power player, Taiga Kagami, is just back from America. When he comes to Seirin High School, he meets the super-ordinary boy, Tetsuya Kuroko. Kagami is shocked to find that Kuroko isn't good at basketball, in fact, he's bad! And he's so plain that he's impossible to see. But Kuroko's plainness lets him pass the ball around without the other team noticing him, and he's none other than the sixth member of the Miracle Generation.

The Kuroko's Basketball TV anime ran from April 2012 to June 2015, and on March 18, 2017, Kuroko's Basketball The Movie: LAST GAME was released. Crunchyroll and Netflix both offer subtitled and dubbed streams of the entire Kuroko anime.

Back in October, the franchise celebrated its 10th-anniversary with a special music video. The single "Zero Step" by GRANRODEO, who provided many of the theme songs for the Kuroko's Basketball franchise, is featured in the music video. Kensho Ono, who provided the voice of Tetsuya Kuroko in the series, contributes vocals to the song.

The game's official website and Twitter officially launched to the public, so we will make sure to watch for updates about the game through their platforms and keep you updated!
