It's been almost one month and two weeks since
Call of Duty: Mobile launched. The recently released mobile game had a massive launch — which makes sense given that it's a new entry in one of the world's biggest franchises.
Call of Duty: Mobile combines a plethora of aspects from previous console instalments in the long-running first-person shooter series. There's characters like Simon "Ghost" Riley and John "Soap" MacTavish from the
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games but there's also maps like Hijacked and Nuketown from the
Call of Duty: Black Ops series — and vice versa.
According to
a new report by Sensor Tower; since October kicked off,
Call of Duty: Mobile has been downloaded over 148 million times. It's the most downloaded mobile game in recent memory, only topped by The Pokémon Company and Niantic's smash hit —
Pokémon GO.
The analyst site also revealed that
Call of Duty: Mobile has earned £53.9 million in revenue within its first month online — almost double what Fortnite earned within its first month on mobile.
Call of Duty®: Mobile is a new free-to-play game that brings together the maps, weapons and characters from across the Call of Duty® series in the definitive first-person action experience on mobile.
Call of Duty: Mobile is available for iOS and Android devices.
