A mobile port of, Behaviour Interactive's 4v1 horror game,
Dead by Daylight has been announced. Similarly, last month it was announced that the game would be
coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The game sees four players assume the roles of survivors as they attempt to outrun and hide from another player who plays as a killer akin to one from a classic horror movie. This multiplayer horror experience will be coming to the App Store and Google Play later this year. That's both iOS and Android devices respectively.
An exact release date hasn't yet been disclosed but it will apparently be at some point during 2019. Currently, you're able to pre-register and sign up for e-mail updates on
the game's official website.
It's said that the new mobile versions of the game will be as close to the original version as possible. However, there will of course be some changes - most notably to the game's UI. According to Behvaiour Interactive
"the core gameplay experience and its mechanics will remain the same."
Dead by Daylight is already available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. As mentioned above, as well as to mobile devices, it will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed.
Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey. The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
