Following the recent release of LEGO Star Wars Battles on Apple Arcade, there's yet another LEGO Star Wars game coming to service. Arriving on November 19, LEGO Star Wars: Castaways is an "online social, action-adventure" in which you travel to a mysterious new planet, team up with friends, race Microfighters, experience the thrills of a galaxy far, far away.
In the game, you'll actually build and customize your own LEGO minifigure character to battle enemies, solve puzzles, and partake in flight simulations, all in an effort to solve a mystery to save this community of Castaways on the ruins of an ancient civilization.
You won't be alone either. There's an online Social Hub in which you can hang out with friends and communicate using LEGO emotes. You'll also be able to challenge others in the Hippodrome and team up to complete quests and earn rewards, including hundreds of additional collectible customization pieces.
As an Apple Arcade exclusive, LEGO Star Wars: Castaways will be playable across Apple's family of devices, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV. The game is completely free for anyone with a subscription to the service, which costs just $4.99 a month (with the first month serving as a free trial).
More details on the highly anticipated game, including hopefully our first actual look at gameplay via a trailer, will be shared closer to launch. LEGO Star Wars: Castayways is set to release on Apple Arcade on November 19.
