Since
Mario Kart Tour became available in September of last year, iOS and Android device users have embraced this fun little racing game and made it one of Nintendo's most popular mobile games.
The game is actually a free to start title — so that has definitely helped, if we're being honest — but still has more than enough content to keep players racing without having to spend a dime; not to mention that it also is a top quality game like the ones Nintendo usually puts out.
While
Mario Kart Tour is a very popular game, fans have been constantly wondering whether the game would ever get a multiplayer mode. Thankfully, Nintendo announced a while back that this mode would indeed be added at some point.
We have known for a while that
Mario Kart Tour's multiplayer mode would become available, and now that it's finally here, Nintendo has released a brand-new trailer to remind players about it.
Mario Kart Tour's multiplayer mode allows players to race against people all over the world, as well as their friends, and even race their friends, or random people, locally. If you still haven't played this phenomenal racing title, you can easily download it from the
App Store or
Google Play; completely free of charge.
As if multiplayer mode wasn't enough, Nintendo has also announced that if the tweet posted below reaches a combined 30,000 retweets — in conjunction with its corresponding tweet on the Japanese account for
Mario Kart Tour — all current players will get 30 rubies and an in-game badge; quite the incentive, to be fair.
