Nintendo has been releasing new content — in the form of thematic tours — for Mario Kart Tour pretty much since the free-to-start racing title became available in September of this year; giving players even more reasons to pick the game up.

As we draw closer to Christmas and New Year, nintendo has decided to release one last tour to wrap up the year; a tour that brings Christmas and New Year-themed characters, tracks, and items in the form of the Mario Kart Tour's "Holiday Tour" — which is actually available right now.

The Mario Kart Tour Holiday Tour is adding Rosalina(New Year) and Yoshi(Raindeer) — with their respective thematic karts, of course — as well as Birdo as playable characters. Nintendo has also given a Christmas-themed makeover to stages, and has added Mario Kart 7's Rainbow Road as a brand-new race track.

Check it out:

Put the pedal to the metal in courses inspired by real-world locations as well as Mario Kart series favorites. Put powerful items to use as you tear up the track and go for a high score! A variety of drivers, karts, and gliders can be collected and upgraded! Find the combo that will lead you to victory!

Mario Kart Tour is currently available for iOS and Android devices.
