The first update of the year for
MARVEL Strike Force has arrived, setting the stage for four new playable characters from the
X-Men,
Inhumans, and
Spider-Verse franchises.
Coming first is The Shatterer, Karnak, the newest Inhuman Controller. Karnak joins the likes of Black Bolt, Yo-Yo, and Crystal as members of the Inhuman team in
MARVEL Strike Force.
A member of the Inhuman Royal Family, Karnak was never exposed to the Terrigen Mist (like many of his fellow Inhumans), although he still possesses extraordinary abilities. Through intense training and meditation, Karnak became an expert martial artist and has the extrasensory ability to detect weaknesses in objects or people. Karnak's martial arts abilities and his weakness detection are on full display in his kit. Karnak specializes in shattering enemies by lowering their Speed Bar, applying Slow, and removing enemy positive effects, on top of hitting for big damage.
Crystal, the Elementalist, also arrives in the game, providing powerful Area of Effect damage against her opponents. Her Ultimate ability stuns all summoned units, allowing the focus to be on higher priority targets. She can also heal and clear debuffs on Inhuman teammates with low health.
Expose enemies to the elements with Crystal, the newest Inhuman Blaster. The younger sister of Medusa, Black Bolt's wife, Crystal has the power to control the four classical elements: air, fire, water, and earth. This elemental control is on full display as Crystal freezes enemies with Slow and Stun, rocks them with a multi-hit attack-all, and blows back attacks by healing low Health Inhuman allies.
Other characters joining the game including Cyclops, a heavy damage Blaster for the X-Men team, and Symbiote Spider-Man, a new addition to the Spider-Verse and Symbiote squads. Full patch notes for
