For some time now, Netmarble has been leading the charge in groundbreaking and incredibly fun mobile games, and with its recent releases and reveals from this past year, that doesn't look like it is about to stop! The company's previous quarter earnings resulted in their biggest year yet, and with that momentum, the company's third-quarter appears to be trending upwards as well.
Netmarble Co-CEO Seungwon Lee stated, "We continue to see strong results at the end of our third quarter with significant overseas sales coming from our line-up of existing games, we have positive expectations for the recent global launch of A3: STILL ALIVE, our upcoming regional launch of Seven Knights 2, and Kabam’s upcoming release of MARVEL Realm of Champions.” It has definitely been a big year for the company so far, and the numbers they have racked up are a testament to that.
According to the company earnings, the quarter from Jul;y to September saw Netmarble earn $535 million in total sales, $73 million in operating profit, and a $77 million net profit. Overseas sales have accounted for 75% of its earnings and a net profit increase of almost 10%! As of now, the company's cumulative earnings for the year have reached $1.55 billion, and the year isn't even over yet!
With their latest titles releasing later this year, this could help push the company even closer to $2 billion for the year. We would love to hear your thoughts on the news in the comments below!
A3: STILL ALIVE is available for free on the App Store, and Google Play and MARVEL Realm of Champions will be available for free on December 16th!
