Ever since Nintendo released
Mario Kart Tour on mobile devices, players have been wondering if the game would ever get a proper multiplayer mode in the same vein other titles in the
Mario Kart series have in the past.
It wasn't until a few months after the game released, that Nintendo officially revealed that they had plans to add said feature to the popular game. In fact,
some users have already had the chance to participate in multiplayer tests to help the developer give players a better gaming experience.
Just yesterday, Nintendo announced that multiplaer mode in
Mario Kart Tour is ready to go live, and that players will finally be able to race their friends, as well as people from around the world, this weekend; with the feature being added on
Saturday the 8th of March, to be more precise.
More details about this new multiplayer mode have yet to be revealed, but Nintendo has stated that up players will be able to be joined by up to 7 other players, and it seems that local multiplayer will also be available. We'll have to wait until this Saturday to find out more.
Put the pedal to the metal in courses inspired by real-world locations as well as Mario Kart series favorites. Put powerful items to use as you tear up the track and go for a high score!
