CAPCOM's Sengoku Basara franchise has had a lot of ups and downs in regards to consistency but has nevertheless been able to maintain a strong fanbase. The franchise features multiple characters with their own styles that make them iconic in their own way.

Since the beginning, the franchise has grown past the world of video games to feature a ton of stories in the form of film, anime, and even stage plays! Aside from video games, anime is probably the only other outlet that is as well known.

A mobile game had also been released titled Sengoku Basara: Battle Party and came out in the summer of last year. The gacha title was a huge hit with fans but has sadly announced that their service will be shutting down by the end of the year. There is no specific reason as to why, but it has been cited that the cause could be from outside circumstances, probably the pandemic.

Whether or not a new game, mobile or otherwise, will rise up to fill the gap is yet to be seen, but until then, it doesn't hurt to continue playing until the service officially ends! We would love to hear your thoughts on the news in the comments below!

Sengoku Basara: Battle Party will end its service on December 21st, 2020.
