For decades, the classic SNK fighting franchise, The King of Fighters, has seen its characters join games such as Tekken 7 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, for its mobile game, The King of Fighters Allstar, the tables have turned. After the massive success of mobile game's crossover with the WWE, Netmarble's fighting game showed fans that nothing off-limits when it comes to who can join the classic fighters of the franchise.
With its second-anniversary celebrations beginning, Netmarble is about to do it again with a new collaboration! This time, the fighters will be joined by characters from the hit, fourth-wall-breaking shonen anime, Gintama! During this event, fans will have access to special missions such as Gintama Attendance Event and Kagura’s Super Mission, which allows players to obtain Elizabeth and Kagura as playable characters.
Characters coming to the new update include Gintoki, Kagura, Kondou, Okita, Hijikata, Takasugi, Katsura, Elizabeth, Kamui, and White Yaksha Gintoki Sakata; which will consist of new battle cards and dungeons! There will also be more 2nd anniversary celebrations, including the attendance event where players can get up to 50 summon cards and one new FES character! The event will run from July 28th to August 26th.
