Pokemon GO, has had a resurgent year as each month rolls out exciting events and the release of 3rd and 4th Generations of little Pocket Monsters into the world. They show no signs of slowing down, and this week their world will get a whole lot bigger as the console tie-ins releasing for the Nintendo Switch,
Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and
Pokemon Let's Go! Eevee, release this Friday,
November 16th!

Pokemon GO Japan released this tweet below, marking a new event for the iOS and Android hit AR game:

To celebrate the release of "Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu · Let's Go! Eevee" which releases on November 16 (Fri), events that will make it possible to find many Pokemon in the Kanto region including Pikachu and Eevee are planned. Details will be announced at a later date, so please be looking forward to it.
It has yet to appear on other language/regional Twitter accounts for
Pokemon Go, but this isn't the first time announcements have leaked in singular regions. This will give trainers the perfect chance to finish getting all the shinies (rare color variants) of all their favorite original series Pokemon, as well as save up candies for those with evolutions in coming generations.
Pokemon GO is available as free-to-play on most current iOS and Android devices, and
Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu & Eevee will release this Friday,
November 16th, for the Nintendo Switch.
