POKEMON SUN And MOON Top CALL OF DUTY: INFINITE WARFARE In US Sales Charts
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may have been #1 in November, but according to a new report, combined sales of Pokemon Sun and Moon actually means that the Nintendo title came out on top instead.
For the eighth year in a row, the Call of Duty franchise has been crowned the highest selling console game of 2016 thanks to Infinite Warfare. While that means it came out on top of NPD's sales chart in November, the combined sales of Pokemon Sun and Moon - which are essentially the same game in all honesty - means that the Nintendo title was the real winner and actually sold more units in total.
That may be good news for Nintendo, but overall, sales were down by 18% for the month. That can probably be blamed on the failure of recently released titles like Watch Dogs 2 and Titanfall 2; this time last year, the likes of Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront took the sales charts by storm in comparison.
Here's the Top 10 list for November, but bear in mind that Pokemon Sun and Moon sold more units than both games in the top two spots when sales are combined, so that's the real winner here!
