One of the main features of Nintendo Switch Online is that it will allow you to use the power of the cloud to back up your saved data. Unfortunately, the system will not be compatible with all games. In fact, one of the titles that will lack this option is Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! & Let's Go, Eevee!.
As Game Informer reports, a message on the Pokémon Let's Go product page indicates that it will not be compatible with this system. In fact, there are other titles that present the same warning. Among them are Dead Cells, FIFA 19, NBA 2K19 and Dark Souls Remastered. Keep in mind that these multiplatform titles do have support for saving in the cloud on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
"Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and a Nintendo Account are required for online gaming. This game does not support backups saved in the cloud. It is not available in all countries. Internet access is required to enjoy online functions," the warning states.
So far, Nintendo has not specified what is the reason why these titles will lack support with this feature. We will be aware and we will inform you when we know more about it.
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! bring the experience of a classic Pokémon RPG to Nintendo Switch with gameplay that is easily approachable for newcomers to the series, but is also deep enough to keep veteran Trainers on their toes.
Pokemon: Let's Go will be available on November 16.
