Yesterday, Mario Kart Tour became available for both iOS and Android devices. It's largely the same as previous Mario Kart games only it's able to be played on your phone. Since its release, the free game has been downloaded over twenty million times. Mario Kart Tour has therefore had Nintendo's biggest mobile launch ever — going by downloads alone.

This impressive statistic comes courtesy of Sensor Tower. Below you can check out a tweet from the site which compares the launches of Nintendo's mobile games. Mario Kart Tour is miles ahead of the rest, the closest runner-up being Super Mario Run with only seven million downloads.

The site also makes note of the fact that Mario Kart Tour made over $1 million from microtransactions within its first 24 hours.
