The First Official TOMB RAIDER Poster Sees Alicia Vikander's Lara Croft Standing Tall
Alicia Vikander's Lara Croft looks as if she could inflict some serious damage with that ice ax she's wielding in the first poster for Tomb Raider.
Word on the net is that the first trailer for the live-action Tomb Raider film starring Alicia Vikander is set to debut fairly soon. As such, WB and MGM have released the first official poster which showcases a very toned Lara Croft. The poster comes via the official Tomb Raider Facebook page.
It was previously thought that the film would exclusively follow the 2013 reboot from Crystal Dynamics but recent comments from Vikander seem to indicate that there will be nods to the original Tomb Raider games as well.
The Roar Uthaug-directed pic is set for release in approximately six months from now on March 16 ,2018.
UPDATE: The Tomb Raider Twitter account has now released a brief teaser which reveals that a full trailer will make its way online tomorrow.
