The game's focus is on the story as it doesn't want to be another first-person shooter war game. By no means is
11-11: Memories Retold an educational game but it chooses to use the First World War for the story's background rather than the game's gameplay. The game also wants to show both sides of the war since most people only know the one version of the story without realising that there's more than one point of view to the event.
Today, Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer that introduces us to Kurt and Harry—the two soldiers from opposing sides of the war that players will get to play as—as well as their animal companions: a dove and a cat. The trailer also reveals the official release date on the 9th of November, only a few days away from the First World War's 100th anniversary.
Journey back to World War I, the War to End All Wars and follow the story of two soldiers brought together in the most unlikely of circumstances...
11-11 Memories Retold will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the 9th of November.
