It's not a mystery that Ubisoft is working on unannounced projects, but this new concept art gives us a clue on what's coming next from the French producer. The ilustration released by Juhani Jokinsen, associete lead concept artists at Ubisoft shows a woman, possibly a leader of some underground organisation, standing before the crowd of soldiers in a dystopian location.
The
Assassin's Creed series fans are probably searching for a confirmation that the next installement will take us to Japan, or even better, Feudal Japan. Jokinsen has previously revealed unused concept art, hinting at the future of the series, but I don't think that we will visit Japan anytime soon. Considering that Ubisoft wants to take us to Ancient Greece and Rome in Bayek's trilogy, this direction seems like a weird choice.
Another option is a sequel of
Tom Clancy's The Division, one of the biggest new brands of this generation. The futuristic, grim location reminds me a lot of the first game. Maybe this time we will finally abandon New York and see how the virus is effecting lifes of people in other parts of the world.
The last, and probably least possible direction is another
Watch_Dogs game, but the leaks and hints from the second game are strongly suggesting that the action will move to London. So, maybe it's just a completely new IP that we've never seen before like
For Honor. The possibilities are endless, but let's hope that's Ubisoft is not making their version of
PlayerUnknown's Battle(Under)
Grounds...
