Back in May,
A Plague Tale: Innocence released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It's a narrative-driven, stealth and horror game from Asobo Studios which made quite the name for itself with all the praise it received.
Recently, a demo for
A Plague Tale: Innocence was announced (via
@APlagueTale) and launched. It's totally free and is available from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Steam — all of which the full game can also be purchased from for about $50. The free demo consists of the entire first chapter of
A Plague Tale: Innocence.

"Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Follow the young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, who face the brutality of a ravaged world as they discover their purpose to expose a dark secret. On the run from the Inquisition's soldiers, surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats incarnating the Black Death, Amicia and Hugo will learn to know and trust each other as they struggle for their lives against all odds.
