We have some great news for PC players out there, as Inti Creates has recently announced, during the Indie Live Expo presentation that streamed earlier today, that Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is finally making its way onto Steam in just a matter of weeks from today.
As per Inti Creates' announcement, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 will become available on Steam on Monday the 22nd of June — which is something that fans of the action-adventure platformer series have been requesting for quite the long time.
For those unfamiliar with Azure Striker Gunvolt, it is a series that was inspired by sidescroller game series like Mega Man, but more particularly inspired by the Mega Man Zero series — which is actually one of the series that Inti Creates developed for Capcom in the early 2000s.
The first title in the series was made available on Steam in 2015, which is only a year after the game had become available on other platforms. Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, on the other hand, was released in 2016, so fans of the series have been requesting Inti Creates to release the game on Steam ever since.
Unfortunately, the Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 announcement didn't come with a proper trailer, but we're sure that fans of the series won't mind; especially when considering that the game is a bit under three weeks away from releasing.
The 2D high speed, old-school style side-scrolling action that you remember from Azure Striker Gunvolt is back! In this game, Gunvolt's rival Copen from the first installment returns to the fray as a playable character!
Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 will become available on Steam on the 22nd of June.
