Next month, Bandai Namco will host a network test for Elden Ring: Nightreign, the upcoming co-op survival action game set within the Elden Ring universe. With so much excitement surrounding the game, the Network Test will give fans their first chance to take on the night, and now you can sign up for a chance to participate.
Sign-ups for the Elden Ring: Nightreign Network Test are now open and will remain available until January 20th. The actual network test will run during select times from February 14th through February 17th.
"The Network Test is a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch," Bandai Namco explained. "Various technical verifications of online systems will be examined by conducting large-scale network load tests."
A co-op multiplayer PvE game, Elden Ring: Nightreign challenges parties of up to three players to survive a three day-and-night cycle in the ever-changing map of Limveld. During the day, players must make split decisions about combat and exploration with the goal of becoming strong enough to take down a terrifying boss that awaits at night.
If players successfully defeat the boss at night, they will awaken to bigger challenges. With each passing night, the map shrinks with the coming Night's Tide. At the end of the third night, they will face off against the chosen Nightlord.
Described as a "condensed action RPG," the game features eight unique characters, each with their own unique abilities and powerful Ultimates. With an ever-changing map, no two playthroughs will be the same as enemies, rewards, and Limveld will continuously shift and evolve each session.
Elden Ring: Nightreign does not yet have an exact release date, but is expected to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The fact we are already getting a network test suggests the game could be close. At the very least, you'll be able to go hands-on with a portion of it next month!

- Session 1: Feb 14th, 3am to 6 am PT
- Session 2: Feb 14th, 7pm to 10 pm PT
- Session 3: Feb 15th, 11am to 2pm PT
