Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer is one of those games that nobody really asked for, but that everyone was pleasantly surprised with when it was announced, and when they finally got the chance to play it.
It is basically a rhythm game set in the world of The Legend of Zelda, but with the gameplay mechanics featured in Brace Yourself Games' Crypt of the Necrodancer — which such an interesting concept that players are almost baffled at the fact that Nintendo didn't attempt this sooner.
Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer was released in June of last year, and the develoeprs have been supporting the gameever since. Just this July, actually, Brace Yourself Games and Nintendo announced that the game would be getting a Season Pass; releasing DLC Pack 1 the very same day of the announcement.
The game's Season Pass is including 3 DLC Packs, and two of them have already been released. DLC Pack 3 is bringing with it a new adventure that will Skull Kid, the main villain in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, as the protagonist; no release date as of yet, but it is expected to become available this month.
Nintendo and Brace Yourself Games have also announced that Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer will be getting a physical release that is expected to hit store shelves on Friday the 23rd of October, and that the physical release will also be including the game's Season Pass.
Just now, Nintendo has released an action-packed gameplay trailer that showcases everything the Season Pass has to offer, while also reminding players that the physical release for Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer is just around the corner.
