Limited Run games has some great news for fans of the Castlevania series, as they have announced that Konami's somewhat recently released Castlevania Anniversary Collection will be getting a physical releasefor the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
While no launch date for the physical release of Castlevania Anniversary Collection has officially been revealed, Limited Run Games and Konami reassure that it is expected to become available at some point this Fall. Whatever the case, this is still phenomenal news for fans of the series.
Castlevania Anniversary Collection was originally announced in March of 2019, and was revealed to bring with it a bunch of the classic titles in Konami's critically acclaimed vampire-hunting action-adventure series; giving players a chance to experience these all-time classics on current-gen consoles.
For those of you wondering, Castlevania Anniversary Collection includes all of the games released on the NES — namely Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, and Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse — the Famicom's Kid Dracula, Super Castlevania IV (Super Nintendo), Castlevania: The Adventure(Game Boy), Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge(Game Boy), Castlevania: Bloodlines (Sega Mega Drive/Genesis)and the "History of Castlevania - Book of the Crescent Moon" eBook.
