In The Sinking City, you play as a determined detective, named Charles Reed, who's trying to solve the mystery of endless floods that have recently been driving the citizens of Oakmont Massachusetts crazy.

Frogwares has released an all-new gameplay trailer for The Sinking City, putting the spotlight on Reed's new mission, featuring "Mr. Throgmorton who entrusts him with a theft case tinged with obscure nuances. To elucidate the investigation, Charles will have to look for clues, follow tracks, hunt suspects around the city and eliminate obstacles in his path" – as it's a modern psychological thriller.

Considering that Frogwares is responsible for some pretty enjoyable adventure video games with Sherlock Holmes in the main role, there's a chance that The Sinking City will live up to its premise.

Check out the latest trailer for The Sinking City featuring plenty of never-before-seen footage below:

The Sinking City is a game of investigation and mystery taking place in a fictional open world inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The player steps into the shoes of a 1920s private investigator who finds himself in the city of Oakmont Massachusetts, New England. A city suffering from unprecedented floods of clearly supernatural origins, a city trembling on the brink of madness.

The Sinking City is coming to PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One on June 27, 2019.
