In case you haven't been keeping track, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, the latest entry in the beloved Crash Bandicoot series, is releasing on Friday the 2nd of October — which happens to be next week — and will give players the long-awaited sequel they have been clamouring for since the late '90s.
That's right, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a reboot of sorts that will be picking up the story right after the events that took place in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, although the game will also be featuring multiple dimensions, so players may still get to see some of the characters that were introduced by post-Naughty Dog era games.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is being developed, this time around, by Toys For Bob, although the studio has done a wonderful job at recreating the feel of the original trilogy, and every trailer that has been released for the upcoming title is solid proof of this.
Since last Wednesday, a playable demo of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time was made available for those players who pre-ordered the game, and the reception the demo has had has been overwhelmingly positive; of course that also makes us question the demo being locked behind a pre-order, but it's still great to see the demo has been well-received.
Now that we are only a bit over a week away from the release of the game, Activision and Toys For Bob have released another gameplay trailer that focuses on Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex, Tawna, and Dingodile — all of the confirmed playable characters in the game — which does a fine job at keeping fans of the series excited for Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time; all of this to My Chemical Romance's Go.
Check it out:
Picking up where the original trilogy left off, Neo Cortex and DR. Nefarious Tropy have escaped their interdimensional prison and in doing so have fractured the boundaries of time and space. It's up to Crash and Coco to save the day.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Friday the 2nd of October.
