On Firday the 2nd of October, the latest entry in the Crash Bandicoot series, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, will finally be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, giving players to reconnect with the series that many thought had been abaondoned by the developers.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is a direct sequel to Crash Bandicoot: Warped, and it is bringing back all of the elements that made the original trilofy such memorable games. Of course, not everything is a carbon copy, since the developers at Vicarious Visions have added new mechanics to keep things fresh, albeit familiar.
Activision and Vicarious Visions have also revealed that players will be able to try out the game for themselves before it officially comes out, as they have revealed that a demo for Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be available next week; on Wednesday the 16th of September, to be more precise.
There is a caveat, though, since the Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time demo will only be available for players who choose to pre-order a digital of the upcoming title; thus defeating the entire purpose of a demo, which exists only to convince players to purchase games in the first place.
While these practices are questionable, it seems like players will still get all of their money's worth with this new Crash Bandicoot game. Whatever the case, the developers have shared a trailer today — letting everybody know that the demo will be available next week, and showing off what it will be including.
Take a look:
Picking up where the original trilogy left off, Neo Cortex and DR. Nefarious Tropy have escaped their interdimensional prison and in doing so have fractured the boundaries of time and space. It's up to Crash and Coco to save the day.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Friday the 2nd of October.
